Egg-cellent Easter Fun at Leyland Market

Win an Easter Hamper including VIP tickets for Leyland Festival

Leyland Market is hosting an egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt with a chance to win a luxury Easter Hamper including a large chocolate egg, a cuddly toy and VIP tickets for Leyland Festival.

Market stallholders have hidden special eggs around the market, each with a letter. Once you find all the eggs you need to solve the puzzle, which is the name of a famous musical.

Families are encouraged to come down to Leyland Market on Tuesday 16th April, Friday 19th April and Saturday 20th April to take part in the hunt for a chance to win the main prize. Everyone who enters will receive a little Easter treat too.

Leyland Market is choc-full of great stalls selling a range of quality produce, clothes, homewares, fancy goods and more. There is also the popular Market Café.

One of the prizes in the hamper is a pair of VIP tickets for Leyland Festival. This year’s festival is on Saturday 15th June. The ever-popular festival includes a vibrant parade through the town centre and then a range of family activities on Worden park including two live music stages, a car show, a fun dog show and lots of entertainment. Local Popstar Kevin Simm, who won The Voice in 2016 and is the new lead singer of Wet Wet Wet, will headline the main stage.

The full live music line up for Leyland Festival will be:

  • Kevin Simm
  • Renee Maré
  • Breaking Waves
  • Bines
  • Connor Banks
  • Charlotte Newman
  • Kev Jameson
  • Just Giorge
