“We’re The Lostheads – Leyland’s indie-party band for over 17 years.

We play crowd-pleasers from The Killers to Oasis, Arctic Monkeys to The Who, all with our own raucous twist. A huge shoutout to our loyal followers who make every gig unforgettable!”

“What’s your history with Leyland Festival? Any standout memories?”
“We played here many years ago, but our biggest claim to fame is Paul breakdancing on a festival float 40 years ago this year. Will history repeat itself with a headspin on stage? You’ll have to come and find out!”

“As local artists, what makes playing at Leyland Festival special to you?”
“It’s all about seeing familiar faces – friends, family, and our dedicated Lostheads following. There’s nothing like hearing a hometown crowd singing every word back at you.”

“Does our Lancastrian culture—its stories, places, or quirks—ever sneak into your music?”
“Absolutely! We do a proper Lancastrian version of ‘Folsom Prison Blues’ that always gets the crowd going. You might call it ‘Folsom Prison T’Blues’ – it’s become something of a signature for us.”

“After your set, where’s the first place in Leyland you’re heading for a celebratory bite or pint?”
“We’re taking everyone back to the Market Ale House as we’re playing at night! Not sure, we could fit 5000 in there though!”

“What’s your mission for this year’s festival? Give us a teaser of your set!”
“Our mission is simple: to make sure everyone leaves with great memories and sore voices from singing along. Expect massive anthems, plenty of energy, and maybe even some unexpected dance moves. It’s going to be a proper Leyland night out!”

With their infectious energy, local pride and arsenal of crowd-pleasing tunes, The Lostheads are set to bring the party to this year’s Leyland Festival.
