 MEET THE ARTIST: GEORGIA ROSE | LEYLAND FESTIVAL 2025

“Introduce yourselves! Who are you, and what’s your act all about?”
“Hi my name is Georgia Rose, I’m 26 and also from Leyland myself! My set is all about enjoying yourself, letting loose and singing along to your favourite songs!”

“What’s your history with Leyland Festival? Any standout memories?”
“This is my first time singing on the main stage at the festival. I have attended the festival many times with my family and friends. I’m excited to see what the Leyland Festival crowd has got for me!”

“As a local artist, what makes playing at Leyland Festival special to you?”
“Playing at the festival means a lot as it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time now, and of course, it being in my home town makes it that much more important to me.”

“Does our Lancastrian culture—its stories, places, or quirks—ever sneak into your music?”
“Yes definitely and you will see this on the 14th of June so make sure you don’t miss it!”

“After your set, where’s the first place in Leyland you’re heading for a celebratory bite or pint?”
“Haha! Will be having a few drinks in the park to show support to the other acts and then head up to the Market Ale House!”

“What’s your mission for this year’s festival? Give us a teaser of your set!”
“The mission is to make sure everyone is singing along, having a good time and also showing people that if you work hard, you can do what you want to do!

A little teaser for the set is that there is something for all the family to sing along to, mums, dads, teenagers and kids!”

With her hometown pride, infectious energy, and a set made for singing along, Georgia Rose is ready to make her Leyland Festival debut.

Georgia will be opening proceedings on the main stage on June 14^th.
