Last Minute Musical Costume Inspiration

It’s only a few weeks to Festival day, so it’s time to start planning those fancy-dress costumes.

The Musicals theme gives us so many choices, there really is something that will suit everyone!

Are you a budding Mary Poppins or more of a Dancing Queen? Pink Lady Frenchie or green witch Elphaba? A Beauty or a Beast? A Maria or a Captain Von Trapp? A lovable Bert or a villainous Jafar? The options are almost endless!

There are some great Musicals to choose from, with costume ideas that range from simple to extravagant. Don’t forget that we have the brilliant Bewitched in Leyland for fancy dress hire, and what about checking out the local charity shops if you are going for a do-it-yourself costume?

Why not get creative? If you are lucky enough to have nimble fingers you could create your own costume. A wealth of ideas and inspiration can be found locally at charity shops such as St Catherine’s Hospice shop, or if you prefer to hire for the day, fancy-dress shops like Bewitched Parties could be great for you!
